Everyone Is A Sinner

Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

Sin is disobedience to God. The disobedience of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden made them sinners. Because of their sin, sin has passed upon all men - every individual is a sinner. You are a sinner and thereby have come short of the glory of God. As a sinner, you do not have a relationship with God or eternal life in Heaven. You are a sinner.

Sin's Penalty Is Death

Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death..."

God requires death as the wage or penalty of sin. God told Adam and Eve, "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." They sinned and became separated from God on earth and were condemned for eternity. As a sinner, the penalty for your sin is death. The Bible says in Ezekiel 18:4, "...the soul that sinneth, it shall die." The penalty for your sin is death.

God Loves You

Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

God's great love for you was displayed when He sent His only begotten Son to die in your place on the Cross of Calvary. As perfectly sinless, He did not need to die for His own sins, but He died for you, a sinner. He paid the price for all sinners. He is your substitute. He paid sin's penalty, death, so that you would not have to. He loves you and wants you to be saved from your sin and have eternal life in Heaven. God loves you and sent Jesus to die for you.

You Can Be Saved

John 3:36, "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."

Jesus Christ has paid the price for the sins of mankind by shedding His precious, sinless blood. There are only two choices for you as a sinner regarding the penalty for sin. You can choose to reject (not believe on) the Lord Jesus Christ as your substitute. If you do, you will pay for your sin. You will remain condemned, separated from God on earth and you will be eternally separated from God in Hell. If you choose to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ (apply His payment to your account by faith), you will become a child of God the moment you believe and you will spend eternity in Heaven with Him. You can be saved.

Dear Lord, I know I am a sinner. I know sin's penalty is death and that you loved me so much that you sent Jesus Christ to die for me. I believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Please forgive me of my sin and save me from Hell. I now trust you to take me to Heaven when I die. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
