Church Ministries

Wednesday Bible Study & Prayer Service

Each Wednesday at 7 pm, the adults of FBC meet in the auditorium for an evening of learning the Scriptures. In addition to the Bible study there is also a time dedicated to praying for specific needs.

Sunday School Classes

Each Sunday morning at 10 am the Bible is taught to people of all ages. We currently have three Sunday school classes: the nursery (ages 0-3), the Conquerors' Class (ages 4-12), and the Berean Class (adults). Along with sound Bible teaching, the classes also enjoy various activities throughout the year.

Shut-in & Get Well Ministry

Those who are not physically capable of coming to church on Sunday's or Wednesday's are certainly not forgotten. Along with occasional visits, our shut-in's and those who are sick receive a bulletin from the week's service, a sermon cd, and a prayer list.

Children's Church

For children ages 4-12, FBC has an exciting children's church service every Sunday. The children meet separately from the adults and have a lesson, a craft, and a snack.

3rd Sunday Fellowships

Almost every 3rd Sunday, FBC holds a meal in their Fellowship Hall following the morning service. With great food and a wonderful atmosphere, relationships begin and existing ones are strengthened.

Kids For Christ

Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month, children ages 4-16 meet in the Fellowship Hall for a special time including a Bible lesson, a game, and learning and practicing music.

Local Ministries

Visitation & Soul Winning

Caring for the spiritual needs of others is the heartbeat of the Bible and of our church. We focus each week on ministering to the spiritual needs of the lost, backslidden, discouraged, and Christians seeking a local church, through visiting and soul winning.

DeKalb County Rehab and Nursing Center Ministry

Each Sunday of every month at 2 pm, FBC holds a church service for the residents of the DeKalb County Rehab and Nursing Center. The residents enjoy hymns of the faith, fellowship, and a sermon.

Gospel Postcard

This ministry grew out of the necessity to reach into the homes of those we are unable to knock on. We gather addresses of these and mail them a postcard with an invitation on one side for them receive Christ as their Saviour and an invitation on the other side to our church services.

Drive Thru Nativity

For three days in December, we host our annual Drive Thru Nativity. Visitors view hundreds of luminaries and twinkling lights and be guided along the Biblical narrative from the Old Testament prophecies of the Messiah and His birth to the angels visits to Mary and Joseph to their journey to Bethlehem onto the birth of Jesus Christ and the visit of the wise men.

Vacation Bible School

Each Summer FBC puts together a fun-filled, memory creating, Bible based and Bible focused three day activity for our children. Children learn Bible truths, memorize a Bible verse, play games, eat snacks, and create one-of-a-kind crafts.
