Holding Forth the Word of Life

Philippians 2:16

Sunday School Classes

Each Sunday morning at 10 am the Bible is taught to people of all ages. We currently have four Sunday school classes: the nursery, the Overcomers' Class (ages 5-8), the Conquerors' Class (ages 9-teen), and the Berean Class (adults). Along with sound Bible teaching, the classes also enjoy various activities throughout the year.

Visitation & Soul Winning

Caring for the spiritual needs of others is the heartbeat of the Bible and of our church. We focus each week on ministering to the spiritual needs of the lost, backslidden, discouraged, and Christians seeking a local church, through visiting and soul winning.

Shut-in Ministry

Those who are not physically capable of coming to church on Sunday's or Wednesday's are certainly not forgotten. Along with occasional visits, our shut-in's receive a bulletin from the week's service, a sermon cd, and a prayer list.

Nursing Home Ministry

On the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Sunday of every month, FBC holds a church service at 2 pm for the residents of the DeKalb County Rehab and Nursing Center. The residents enjoy hymns of the faith, fellowship, and a sermon.

Children's Church

For children ages 3-10, FBC has an exciting children's church service every Sunday. The children meet separately from the adults and have a lesson, a craft, and a snack.

3rd Sunday Fellowships

Every 3rd Sunday, FBC holds a meal in their Fellowship Hall following the morning service. With great food and a wonderful atmosphere, relationships begin and existing ones are strengthened.
